In the US, Havas Digital – the group that holds all Havas Media’s interactive assets – has promoted Jarvis Mak to the position of Senior Vice President-Global Director of Research and Insights.

Mak joined Havas agency Media Contacts in October 2007 as VP US Director of Research and Insights. He was previously Director of Client Results at media analysis provider DS-IQ, Director Data Insights at Yahoo!, and Senior Internet Media Analyst and then Director Analytics at Nielsen//NetRatings.

In his new role, based in San Francisco, Mak will work across all existing and future network brands including Media Contacts, Lattitud, iGlue, Mobext and Archibald Ingall Stretton.

Mak takes on the role previously held by TS Kelly, who left in September to lead media research and measurement initiatives at Internet ratings firm Quantcast.
