Guideline Launches Weekly Ad Spend Monitor
Media intelligence and planning software firm Guideline has unveiled Market Monitor, a new weekly subscription syndicated research product providing global advertising market insights built entirely on verified, transaction-level spend data.
Guideline was formed through the acquisitions of Standard Media Index, SQAD and Lumina, and provides ad data and planning technology. Its AI Agent, launched last year, is powered by proprietary data covering more than $170 billion in verified annual ad spending, and also features fully customizable dashboards. In February this year it announced the launch of an innovation engine called the AI Factory.
The new Market Monitor promises to surface trends, highlight growth areas and deliver 'forward-looking market context,' broken down by channel and geography, and its creators contrast its verified data with the modeled projections, survey-based estimates and self-reported platform data it says are used by many industry benchmarks. Its weekly appearance, 48 times per year, also promises more up-to-date data than existing monthly or quarterly publications.
Sean Wright (pictured), Chief Insights and Analytics Officer comments: 'The advertising industry deserves market intelligence built on what actually happened - not what a model predicts might have happened. Market Monitor puts our verified transaction data to work for a much broader audience, giving organizations of every size the insights they need to move from signal to action with confidence.'
