AI Agent Launch for Guideline

October 8 2025

Media intelligence and planning software firm Guideline has launched the Guideline AI Agent, a conversational interface built into its data platform and linked to dashboards, visualizations and sharing capabilities.

Guideline logoGuideline provides data and technology to guide clients' media investment, and is the result of the merger of Standard Media Index, SQAD and Lumina. This year it has appointed Vincent Misfud as CEO, promoted Alberto Leyes to SVP of Go-to-Market Strategy, and brought former Enghouse Systems Marketer Tim Peters as CMO and VP of Demand Generation.

The firm says the new agent 'transforms verified transaction data into instant, automated intelligence,' removing manual steps and speeding up processes. Features include Automated Visualizations - every question generates a clear, customizable chart or table; Data Export & Sharing, with results downloadable in PNG, CSV or XLSX formats; as well as custom analytics, and flexible and interactive dashboards.

The firm has plans to add more tools in the very near future: a Model Context Protocol (MCP) layer setting qual and quant data side by side, by the end of the year; and, later on, tools which 'move beyond descriptive and diagnostic intelligence toward predictive and prescriptive guidance.'

'With this new AI Agent,' says CEO Mifsud, 'we are helping our customers derive instant insights to Guideline's unmatched data foundation. Our customers can now move from a plain English question to decision in seconds, accelerating time to value, enhancing insight readiness, and unlocking new ways to apply differentiated intelligence across their organizations.'
