Kadence Named UK's Greenest MR Agency

May 26 2009

B2B research specialist Kadence International is the 'greenest' market research company in the UK according to The Sunday Times Best Green Companies in Britain list. The firm was the only market research firm to make it onto the list of 60 UK companies, and ranked 46th.

The Kadence UK Green CommitteeThe survey aims to offer a definitive guide to businesses with the most radically improved environmental performances. It takes into consideration the view of employees, who are invited to rate their firm's green credentials, as well as assessing its environmental performance, policies and practices of business.

Initiatives which contributed to Kadence's position on the list, include its use of the low-energy search engine Blackle, investing in workplace signage to remind its 100-strong team to think green, and conducting quarterly staff surveys to track positive environmental behavior change. In addition, team members are provided with training on the company's environmental policies, and the subject is treated as a separate agenda item at departmental and board meetings.

UK MD Kieron Mathews commented: 'Environmental issues are a key priority to our employees and to reflect this we have implemented numerous procedures to ensure our company is as green as possible. We are delighted with what has been achieved to date and are eager to build on this success and develop our green company culture even further.'

Kadence was founded in 1992, and now has offices in Boston, London, Delhi, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Singapore and Hong Kong.
