Interpret Launches Mobile Research Tool

August 20 2009

US entertainment, media and technology market research firm Interpret has launched a syndicated research tool to provide an understanding of what drives the purchase of mobile handsets and devices.

Michael DowlingMobileTrax has been developed to offer handset and PC vendors, technology companies and mobile carriers information about pre and post launch consumer awareness, as well as post purchase satisfaction and usage models.

It is backed by proprietary data on technology behaviour, attitudes and usage, and offers insight to help identify the potential audience and the demographic profile for each mobile device.

The tool can also help understand key purchase drivers and in-store triggers, as well as uncover purchase barriers and influencers among consumers who do not ultimately buy.

Describing the reason behind the launch, CEO Michael Dowling explains: 'It's important for every vendor in this space to understand what consumer behavior is in the last ten minutes of the purchase cycle as well as the usage models for the first thirty days post purchase.'

Based in Los Angeles with offices worldwide, Interpret also has a global reach with services throughout North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

In June, the firm rolled out a syndicated service to provide an understanding of consumer behaviour around digital media and emerging technologies.
