Lightspeed Names New EMEA CEO

Online panel specialist Lightspeed Research has promoted Andrew Cayton to the post of Chief Executive Officer of its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) business.

Andrew CaytonCayton, who takes on the role previously held by new President and Global CEO David Day, will be based in London where he will work alongside the Senior Global Team.

He has more than 17 years' sales, marketing and management experience in the market research and marketing services industries. Prior to joining the firm in 2003 as SVP Business Development EMEA, he was the Head of Sales of Harte-Hanks where he promoted the firm's insight and marketing services to clients across Europe.

Most recently at Lightspeed he held the position of Global Sales Operations Director, while retaining his business development role across the EMEA region. During this period, he also served as a Board Director.

'Over the last six years, Andrew has played an integral role in defining and executing our strategy, which contributed to the rapid growth of our EMEA business,' stated Day, to whom Cayton will report. 'Andrew was a natural choice for the CEO role, as his knowledge of the online market research business is second to none.'
