Omniture Helps Adobe to Healthy Quarter

Software giant Adobe has reported results for the three months ending March 5th, including 'record' quarterly revenue of $87.7m for its recently acquired online analytics business Omniture.

Adobe revenue for the three months rose 9% to $858.7m, impressing analysts. Omniture generated a gross margin of 52.0%.

Omniture was acquired in the autumn for around $1.8 billion, or $21.50 per share. Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen said this week that integration of the two companies was proceeding well.

In April, Adobe will launch Creative Suite 5, the first piece of software to result from integrating its own products with Omniture's analytics.
