Mixed Results for iPerceptions

May 20 2010

Voice of Customer analytics provider iPerceptions Inc. has reported financial results for the first quarter of 2010. Revenues rose 3% versus the previous quarter to $1.247m, although losses also increased versus the year-earlier period.

Q1 gross margin as a percentage of revenue was 62%, down from 64% in Q1 2009, and net loss and comprehensive loss rose to $674k from $545k.

Among the highlights for the quarter, the firm said it had won new and repeat business from several high-profile auto-makers; added the ability to integrate 4Q data within Google Analytics Reports; and launched WASP 2.0, the next generation of its Web Analytics Solution Profiler product line. 4Q and WASP 2.0 were among the first applications included in the Google Analytics Application Gallery, launched by the search giant earlier this year.

President and CEO Claude Guay says the firm's launch of its webValidator Interactive Dashboard and its integration with behavioral (clickstream) data in Q4 2009 have drawn a very positive response from clients, and the company 'continues to expand its portfolio of innovative and affordable web analytics solutions'.
