Simmons Hires to Boost Ad Agency Business

In the US, Experian Simmons has appointed Paul Cannon as Senior Account Director, responsible for managing and growing business with the company's clients within advertising agency holding companies. He will report to vice president of Client Business Development Jim Tobolski.

Based in the firm's New York City office, Cannon brings more than 20 years of experience from the consumer information, media research and software industries, much of it with a focus on syndicated data. He started in the ad agency sector, working on financial, entertainment and automotive accounts, then moved to research as a sales manager at Nielsen Media Research and Strategic Radio Research; and subsequently account service and sales management roles at Marketing Resources Plus, now part of Arbitron.

'Paul's primary goal is to embed Simmons services throughout our agency clients' businesses', says Tobolski, 'in an effort to bring consumer target profiles to life and drive value.'

The Simmons National Consumer Studies survey more than 30,000 American consumers each year to deliver national and local data on Americans' purchasing, brand preference, Internet shopping behavior, attitudes and lifestyles, and media consumption.
