Scarborough Hires Condon for Development Role

In the US, Scarborough Research - the joint venture between Nielsen and Arbitron - has appointed former Nielsen Online SVP Brian Condon as EVP, Commercial Development.

Brian CondonScarborough measures the lifestyles and shopping patterns, media behavior and demographics of American consumers. Condon will focus on digital services and help to bring new solutions to existing and potential client marketplaces. In this role, he will work with Scarborough's product management, analytics, operations and marketing teams, and he will manage sales across all divisions.

In addition, he will liaise with former colleagues at Nielsen and leaders at Arbitron, as well as with other Scarborough business partners.

'Brian brings an extensive digital background, and his experience spans client service, analytics, marketing and product development functions,' states President and CEO Tom Drouillard, to whom Condon will report. 'His combined skill sets are a superb complement to the Scarborough team.'

While at Nielsen Online, Condon was SVP of Sales and Client Services, before which he was VP, Sales & Marketing for ad agency LVL Communications. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of positions at Dun & Bradstreet.

Joining on April 1, he will be based primarily in Sherborn, MA, and will spend a portion of his time at the firm's HQ in New York.
