Kadence Hires Leader for Quant Team

Research provider Kadence International has appointed Barbara Gourley as Insights Director and a member of its UK Board, responsible for building, leading and mentoring the UK quant research team.

Barbara GourleyFounded in 1992, Kadence is a privately-owned agency with offices in the USA, UK, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and China.

Gourley joins with more than 12 years' experience as a strategy consultant. For the past six years, she has served as a Managing Consultant in Capgemini's Telecom, Media and Entertainment practice, where she worked for a number of leading handset manufacturers and for clients across the TV, broadband and mobile telephony sectors.

Earlier in her career, she was a Senior Consultant at Chorleywood Consulting/Informa Telecoms Group, and at Logical Strategy (part of Datatec).

Gourley brings a wide skill set across customer and brand insight, competitor analysis, pricing, segmentation, and customer experience, retention and loyalty; and an understanding of digital strategy.

In addition to heading the quant team, her new role includes development and strengthening of the company's European presence through thought leadership, new solutions and business initiatives.
