[x+1] and MarketShare Team Up

US-based behavioral targeting specialist [x+1] has partnered with analytics firm MarketShare to help marketers optimise their mix of offline and online media.

John Nardone and Jon VeinFounded in 1999, [x+1] has developed statistical modeling technology to control traditional direct marketing techniques online. MarketShare provides software combining advanced analytics and statistical modeling, to help companies improve the effectiveness of their sales and marketing strategies.

With the agreement, [x+1] will offer its clients MarketShare's cross-marketing analytics while MarketShare will offer its clients [x+1]'s online targeting platform.

'Clients are spending a significant portion of their budget on digital media, yet there is still a gap in terms of understanding how digital interacts with other elements in the marketing mix,' explains John Nardone, Chairman and CEO of [x+1]. 'Our partnership with MarketShare will enable clients of both companies to obtain knowledge that will drive more effective spend decisions.'

Jon Vein, co-founder and CEO of MarketShare says the partnership will provide clients with an 'unmatched' predictive solution that makes online and offline investments more complementary.
