Former Google Analytics Leader Joins Visible Measures

US video specialist Visible Measures has appointed former Head of Google Analytics Sales / Enterprise Paul Botto as General Manager of its analytics and measurement businesses.

Paul BottoVisible Measures, which uses a patented approach to measure Internet video reach and engagement, recently launched Viewable Media, a network enabling advertisers to buy user-initiated views aired in social media videos.

In his new role, Botto will lead analytics strategy and business development, while his team helps publishers and marketers leverage the new Viewable Media network.

Botto joins from social media marketing firm Brickfish, where he was VP of Sales. Prior to this, he worked at Google Analytics, where he managed an extended team of hundreds to deliver data consultation, consultative ad sales and product support. Before this, Botto was Business Development Manager at web analytics company Urchin Software, acquired by Google in 2005.
