EmSense and Fifth Dimension Link for Shopper Analysis

Neuromarketing firm EmSense has partnered with store-based shopper research specialist Fifth Dimension, to measure shoppers' emotional and cognitive engagement when making buying decisions.

Mike LetchfordSan Francisco-based EmSense offers emotion tracking, cognitive neuroscience and analytics, and market research through its EmGear wireless headset; while UK and US-based Fifth Dimension provides software solutions for store, range and shelf planning, and store data analysis.

Through the partnership, the EmGear headset will be integrated into Fifth Dimension's virtual testing environment, to measure why shoppers decide to buy or not buy retail products.

'Fifth Dimension has taken virtual store-based shopper research to the next level with our Omega suite of software, which features the use of stereoscopic 3D, and allows a 3D shopper immersion unlike any other,' states Mike Letchford, owner and CEO of Fifth Dimension.
