B2B Promotes Two to Board

Stockport, UK-based researcher B2B International has promoted Julia Cupman and Oliver Truman to its Board of Directors. Cupman leads the firm's North American strategy and operations, while Truman takes over as the Head of IT and Technology.

Julia Cupman and Oliver TrumanThe agency took additional offices in London and Shanghai last year - it also had a presence in New York, Moscow and Brussels - and recently reported 2010 revenue up to £3.8m from £3.5m in 2009, driven by its US subsidiary which saw 58% year-on-year growth during the period.

Cupman transferred to the US in May 2008 to take on the role of US Business Development Manager, when the firm opened its New York office. She joined the company after working in media research for companies including both the BBC and ITV. She holds has a degree in Modern Languages from Oxford University.

Truman, hitherto an AD with special responsibilities for IT and online operations, will now lead technology programmes to improve client service and the firm's own internal processes across its network of offices. He started at B2B as an interviewer in 2004 and then joined B2B full-time in 2007 after graduating from the University of Manchester in English Language and Linguistics.
