Wunderman's KBM Group Expands to UK

August 25 2011

Wunderman subsidiary KBM Group has launched in the UK, offering a range of data, analytics and marketing services. The division will be led by database marketing specialist Caroline Worboys.

KBM Group (formerly KnowledgeBase Marketing) helps companies manage, analyze and optimize marketing data through a range of services including strategic consulting, analytics, response services, marketing management and outsourcing.

Based in London, Worboys will lead business development in the UK, while supporting KBM's network of 14 global offices and helping to develop its collaboration with WPP-owned marcoms network Wunderman, to bring a range of data-based solutions to the latter's UK clients.

Most recently, Worboys was MD of the Callcredit Information Group's Marketing Solutions division, and led the firm's sale to venture capital firm Vitruvian Partners. Prior to this, she was CEO of customer management business Broadsystem. She also founded HDM Worboys, a database marketing business which she later sold to News International.

Worboys' appointment coincides with the integration of Wunderman UK's existing data management resources into KBM Group, intended to consolidate and optimise the two firms' data practices.

Brendan Tansey, CEO of Wunderman UK, comments: 'Caroline will be an excellent partner to our clients, who need strategic counsel on data, analytics and the full range of marketing services in highly integrated relationships. She will be quite an asset to KBM Group as well as to Wunderman and our agency network.'
