Mancx Q&A Tool Linked to LinkedIn

September 13 2011

Stockholm-based information exchange platform Mancx.com has launched a new tool, to enable users to match questions on its platform with contacts in their LinkedIn network.

Mattias GuilotteDescribed as a 'sort of classified ads site for business intelligence', Mancx.com is pitched at business people who need answers, and people who want to make money from their knowledge. The site allows users to meet anonymously to trade information - from simple questions to complex business information requests, for which sellers are paid a predetermined amount.

The firm's new Matchmaker solution analyses questions on its platform, and extracts keywords which it then uses to match with keywords in its users' profiles.

Once a Mancx user verifies their account with LinkedIn, Matchmaker will also match questions with contacts in the user's LinkedIn network. If the tool finds a contact that might be able to answer a particular question, Mancx will alert the member.

CMO and co-founder Mattias Guilotte explains: 'LinkedIn acts as a who's who of business people and professionals, and Matchmaker gives you a great excuse to work your network by showing that you're thinking of them. With business contacts it is good to keep your links warm, and if someone sends you a message with a link saying 'hey, here's something you could help with' and the task offers $200 for ten minutes of your time then that's added value.'

Matchmaker also provides users with the option to take a percentage of the fee for the questions they are referring.

The firm, which recently completed a Series B funding round, is online at www.mancx.com .
