Sky IQ Launches Insight Tools

In the UK, BSkyB's customer intelligence business Sky IQ has partnered with marketing services agency ExactTarget to launch a portfolio of marketing insight products and services, designed to help brands better understand and market to potential customers.

William MellisSky IQ, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BSkyB, was originally launched as a joint venture between the satellite broadcaster and data services giant Experian, prior to the former taking full ownership earlier this year.

There are three new services: 'Identity IQ', which aggregates data provided by clients to offer a real-time single customer view; 'Marketing IQ', offering management of clients' consumer data for use in multi-channel marketing campaigns; and 'Insight IQ' for profiling and modelling information to help clients understand and engage with their customers.

The partnership also aims to strengthen Sky IQ's digital proposition, Digital IQ. Through the integration of ExactTarget's Interactive Hub, Sky IQ clients will be able to deliver communications across multiple digital channels - including e-mail, mobile, social media and web campaigns - powered by its insights.
