Dipsticks Research Promotes Four

North of England-based Dipsticks Research has promoted Andreas Thorslund to the post of Head of Brand and Communications Research. Three other members of staff have also been promoted.

Andreas ThorslundFounded nearly eighteen years ago, Dipsticks provides field and tab support to other market research agencies, and also has an online consumer panel of 170,000 people across the UK.

Thorslund (pictured) joined in 2008, since when he has helped design and implement a number of studies, including a recent youth analysis called Con-demned Youth, in partnership with creative agency Karmarama. In his new role, Thorslund heads a team of specialist media and marketing communications researchers.

Judith Welford has been promoted to Senior Research Executive, having joined the company in June 2010 after completing a Master’s Degree in Research Methods and PhD in History at Durham University. Her new position working in the public and third sector research division Public Knowledge, involves full project management for public and third sector clients.

Additionally, Karen Dodd has moved up to Senior Operations Executive, and Jay Brown to Data Management Executive.
