July 2 2012

In the UK, consumer insight and sensory specialist MMR Research Worldwide continues the rapid growth of its Oxfordshire and London teams, announcing six new hires including AD Helen Stratton.

Less than a month ago, MMR announced seven new arrivals including Jon Arthurs as Client Services Director.

The latest arrivals range from AD level to trainee research exec. Stratton joins the London office with thirteen years' MR experience, the last four at the Central Office of Information where she managed qual and quant research to inform government policy and communications campaigns. Before this, she worked for TNS-RI specialising in consumer research for key food and drink clients.

New Zealand native Joanna Kissick joins as a Sensory Qualitative Senior Research Executive, and has worked in Australia and most recently spent six years in a range of sensory and consumer science roles at Fonterra Dairy Co-Operative Ltd in the Netherlands.

Sonu Kaur joins from Research Now, bringing four years' MR programming experience to the role of Survey Creator. Kaur is an IT graduate from Reading University. Lesley Potter joins as an RE, with three years' experience from Nielsen BASES.

Graduates Abigail Horsley and Scott Gibson both join as Trainee Research Executives, bringing a Master's degree in social and cultural theory from Bristol University, and a degree in Sociolinguistics from Lancaster University, respectively.

Headquartered in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, the company focuses on the food, drink, personal and household care sectors, has additional offices in the USA, Singapore and China and is part of the 130-strong privately-owned MMR Group, founded in 1989 by Professor David Thomson.
