Brand and ad research specialist Hall & Partners has hired Andy Chappin, previously CFO of TNS UK, as its new Global CFO - its fourth major hire so far this year.

Already in 2012 Hall & Partners has appointed the returning Murray Hardie as US CEO, and hired Kevin Ford as Global Head of Research Solutions and Andy Waller as Global COO.

Chappin, who will be based in the agency’s London office, brings just under two decades of experience, having trained as an accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and then worked for ITV, Newsquest Media Group and the RAC. Most recently, he spent six years at WPP, culminating in the TNS role.

He reports to Global CEO Vanella Jackson, who comments: ‘Andy is a wonderful guy, with vision and tenacity. He brings not just a great track record in the research industry, but a wealth of experience that will enable him to play a critical role in guiding and supporting us as we fulfil all our ambitions.’
