Former General Mills Researcher Joins Cambiar

Cambiar, the management consultancy dedicated to the MR industry, has appointed General Mills veteran Jeff Hunter as an Associate, with a focus on marketing sciences, growth strategies and emerging markets.

Jeff HunterFounded in 2004 by US researchers Simon Chadwick and Jay Wilson, Cambiar specializes in helping market research companies manage change, via a number of distinct practices: HR, sales performance, research transformation,and marketing. It also offers a range of training programs.

Hunter (pictured) retired from General Mills earlier in the year after more than 22 years with the firm. He most recently worked there as Senior Director in Consumer Insights, iTECH, where he was part of a team responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing research solutions to generate insights and drive growth. Earlier in his career, he spent eight years at market research agency N K Friedrichs Consulting as Manager, Data Processing and Quantitative Analysis.

He is a past trustee of the Marketing Science Institute, was previously President of the Market Research Council, and served on the Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association.
