KSS Retail Launches Pricing and Promotions Tool

In the US, dunnhumby-owned price modeling and customer insight firm KSS Retail has introduced a new business intelligence tool called PriceStrat Analyzer, to enable retailers to tap into their data for decisions about pricing and promotions.

Yael CossetKSS Retail provides optimization and shopper insight solutions combined with real-time modeling for the grocery, convenience, general and online retail sectors. The firm's Retail Shopper Insights platform offers a tool through which to gain shopper feedback, while measuring and modeling purchasing habits.

PriceStrat Analyzer allows retailers to gauge the effectiveness of pricing decisions and identify trends across a variety of metrics, and then share that information with their merchandising, category management, marketing and financing teams, as well as with trade partners and other stakeholders. Additionally, the solution can be used to illustrate the effectiveness of advertising and promotions, while providing competitor data at multiple levels.
