AdRoll Buys Custom Analyst Bitdeli

San Francisco-based ad re-targeting platform AdRoll has acquired custom analytics start up Bitdeli, whose founders will join its engineering team. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Ville and Jyri TuulosLaunched last year by brothers Ville and Jyri Tuulos, Bitdeli's platform enables users to process hundreds of millions of events in real-time, analyze the resulting data, and build their own dashboards and visualizations with specific data.

Through the integration of Bitdeli's core product into AdRoll's re-targeting platform, users will be provided with access to new ways to slice data for analysis and targeting, new ways to visualize data, and 'smarter' customer scoring.

As part of the deal, Bitdeli's Github Badge, a free product that provides analytics specifically for GitHub users, will remain unchanged and continue to be maintained independently of AdRoll's platform.
