Mindshare Hires Former Omniture Comms Leader

US-based customer feedback specialist Mindshare Technologies has hired former Omniture comms leader Kristi Knight for the new role of Chief Marketing Officer, leading the marketing team and guiding the direction of the company's global brand.

Kristi KnightHeadquartered in Salt Lake City, Mindshare offers automated customer feedback and employee engagement solutions, with proprietary technology developed to capture the 'voice of the customer' in real-time. Earlier this week, the firm announced it had raised an undisclosed amount of new capital, and used it to fund the acquisition of Canadian social media customer experience management (CEM) firm Empathica.

Knight (pictured) joins with more than 20 years' experience of building marketing and communications programs, and a career that has included positioning Omniture for its $1.8 billion sale to Adobe in 2009, as well as home security firm Vivint's $2 billion sale to Blackstone last year. Most recently, she was Vivint's VP Marketing, leading a company-wide rebrand and building the firm's integrated marketing department. At Omniture, she was Senior Director of Corporate Communications.
