uSamp Founders Leave the Company

December 4 2013

uSamp co-founders Matt Dusig and Gregg Lavin have confirmed that they have left the company to 'explore new opportunities'.

Matt Dusig and Gregg LavinThe pair launched the Los Angeles firm as United Sample in 2008, after selling their previous survey sample firm goZing to Greenfield Online in 2005 for $30m in cash, and then working in senior management roles for the new owner.

Earlier this year, IAG Research co-founder Alan Gould joined uSamp as CEO. At the time, the firm said in a statement that Dusig and Lavin would continue to operate the firm's core sampling business.

Speaking to DRNO last night, Dusig confirmed that while he and Lavin are 'no longer officially with the company', they remain major shareholders and wish uSamp continued success. He added: 'I'm sure Gregg and I will have a future update for you about a new business down the road'.
