Dentsu Aegis Buys Polish Social Media Agency

Marcoms giant Dentsu Aegis has extended its social media arm to Poland with the acquisition of the Socializer group, which will be integrated into the Isobar digital media division. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2011, Socializer offers a range of social media services including strategy development; research, monitoring and performance analytics tools; advertising creative and marketing activations; and apps and games development.

Led by CEO £ukasz Misiukanis (pictured) and located in Warsaw and Bia³ystok, the firm's 130 specialists provide social media expertise to a wide range of blue chip clients. Following the acquisition, Misiukanis will hold the position of Vice President of Isobar Poland and continue to lead his team as Social & Media Director.
