Trio Open Multicultural Research Firm

US-based multicultural research specialists Michele Cordoba, Brenda Lee and Iris Yim have set up a new full service research and strategic consulting firm called Vision Strategy and Insights (VSI), with a focus on Hispanic, African American and Asian consumers.

Michele Cordoba, Brenda Lee and Iris YimCordoba served previously on the management team at New American Dimensions, and managed her own multicultural marketing and consulting firm, Visión Publicidad; Lee founded and managed The Quan Market Research consulting company and worked for Bain & Company; and Yim was a Senior Project Director at Phoenix Marketing International for eleven years.

The new team includes expertise in innovative research design, strategic consulting, advertising and messaging, all focused on helping clients 'meet the challenges' of the multicultural business environment.

Commenting on the launch, Yim said: 'Understanding the multicultural consumer comes naturally to us - we are the target audience. We are unique because we have the internal expertise to understand the distinct and converging needs of segments and the total market.'
