Chime Strengthens Open PLAN Team

Healthcare market research, market access and brand planning specialist OPEN Plan, which is part of Chime Communication's Insight and Engagement arm, has appointed Neil Rees as Head of Research and Catherine Swanson as an SRE.

Neil Rees and Catherine SwansonThe division, which was launched in 2011 as a subsidiary of Chime's healthcare communications agency OPEN Health, provides qual, quant and online research for global and domestic clients.

Rees joins after two years at Kadence International, where as Head of Qual he worked across B2B, B2C and healthcare sectors. Prior to this, he was a Partner at Hall & Partners, where he worked for more than five years; an Account Director at Huntsworth Health; and an RE at PBC Group. In his new role, Rees is responsible for the management, development and growth of the OPEN Plan team.

Swanson previously spent nearly three years as a Research Executive at Kantar Health, which included a three month secondment in the firm's Shanghai office. At OPEN Plan, she works on qual and quant methodologies across a variety of therapy areas.
