TNS Promotes Conrad to MD, Brazil

TNS has promoted James Conrad to the role of Managing Director, Brazil; and filled his previous post as Executive Vice President, West Region Lead through the appointment of former GfK exec Rogerio Monteiro.

James Conrad and Rogerio MonteiroConrad joined the firm in 2012 from GfK Custom Research North America, where he served as MD of Brand and Communications USA. Prior to this he spent seventeen years at Millward Brown, having begun his market research career there in 1993. From 1999 to 2001, he lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he was responsible for the expansion of the business across Latin and Central America; and later he served President of Millward Brown Canada. He has also held various senior industry leadership positions including Chairman of the ARF in Canada, Chairman of the Research Agency Council, and National MRIA Board member.

Commenting on his new role, Conrad said: 'With the World Cup fast approaching, and the Olympics a couple of years away, this is an important time for Brazil and our Brazilian clients. I'm delighted to lead TNS's team of incredible practitioners and to continue our focus on driving impact for our clients.'

Monteiro joins with fourteen years' market research experience on both the client and vendor side. Most recently, he was MD of GfK Technology in North America, having previously worked there as Head Latam Automotive/Automotive Director. Earlier, he was Consumer Insights Manager at Kraft Foods Group and a Senior Market Analyst at General Motors.

In their new positions, Conrad and Monteiro will report to Mike Gettle, CEO of TNS Americas.
