Retail data giant Information Resources Inc. (IRI) has appointed P&G veteran José Carlos González-Hurtado as President of International, responsible for strategy and execution of all services across Europe, Asia Pacific, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.
Paris-based González-Hurtado (pictured) joins with more than 25 years' international retail and manufacturing experience. Most recently, he served as a Partner at management consultancy Ward Howell International, prior to which he was Group Chief Commercial Officer at retail giant Carrefour. He began his career at Procter and Gamble (P&G) in 1989, and during his twenty years with the firm held senior roles based in Spain, Greece, Switzerland and Israel, including Marketing Director for Fabric Care in West Europe; General Manager in Israel, West Bank and Gaza; and General Manager of the firm's Global Leadership Council in Eastern Europe.
