ResearchBods Expands to Australia

North of England-based online panel firm ResearchBods has opened its first overseas office near Melbourne, Australia; and appointed David Gibbs to lead it.

David GibbsResearchBods was founded in 2011 by Robin Hilton and Jonathan Clough - who previously worked at youth research and marketing strategist Dubit. The firm offers specialist access panels, insight communities and digital solutions for research among children, 'youth' and families.

Gibbs (pictured) served most recently as Dubit's Head of Online Research Services Australia. His previous roles included Head of Insight at Viacom Brand Solutions, Sales & Marketing Director at KMR Software, Head of Consumer Insight at OMD, and Research Manager at BSkyB.

Hilton comments: 'Although the Australian market research sector is mature and many agencies have a presence there, we feel we are well placed to expand into this market through our existing clients and our focus on quality and service. Recently we have invested heavily in technology, and we believe our ability to provide truly bespoke 'best in class' solutions quickly and cost-effectively for agencies and brands gives us a key advantage over our competitors.'
