InterMedia Names Fleury President and CEO

In the US, global non-profit research-based consultancy InterMedia has appointed former GfK SVP Christopher Fleury as President and CEO.

Christopher FleuryFrom its offices in Washington DC, London, and Nairobi InterMedia provides guidance and insight on the views and behaviour of people worldwide, especially among hard-to-reach populations. The firms' clients include international development agencies and philanthropic foundations, media, government agencies and international broadcasters.

Fleury (pictured) joins after seven years at GfK, most recently as SVP of GfK Custom Research North America, and earlier as a Senior Research Director at GfK Roper Public Affairs & Corporate Communications. Prior to this he held senior roles at the Center for the Study of Services, Ocean Tomo, and The Polling Company, and he was a Social Science Analyst at the US Department of State. In the last of these roles, he was responsible for managing public opinion surveys across Europe and the preparation of analytical reports for US policy makers and officials at the White House, State Department, Pentagon CIA, and National Security Council.

Fleury will take up his new role on August 18th, replacing Board Director Robert Gillette who has held the post on an interim basis since last summer.
