GI Insight Hires Analytics Experts

UK-based database marketing and loyalty scheme specialist GI Insight has hired analytics industry exec Andrew Adkins as Head of Client Services and Analytics, and former ASDA Customer Insight Manager Melanie Brown as Senior Analytical Team Leader.

Andrew Adkins and Melanie BrownThe Leicester-based firm offers a full range of services including consultancy, data capture, analysis, segmentation, profiling, and campaign execution and measurement. Adkins joins with seventeen years' database marketing experience, gained most recently at business products supplier The Consortium, where he was Head of Customer Insight. Prior to this he was Head of Customer Intelligence at Findel Education, Director of SMi Information Services, and Database Marketing Manager at Mintel. Earlier, he held data analyst and account management roles at UBM and Acxiom.

Brown's eight-year career began in market research at consumer insight and sensory specialist MMR Research Worldwide, before she moved to scientific publisher Elsevier as an RE, and then to retail giant ASDA, where for nearly four years she worked mainly on the George brand clothing business.

Adkins will now lead a team of fifteen Data Analysts, while Brown will manage a smaller team under his direction.
