Charterhouse Research Boosts Senior Team

UK financial services specialist Charterhouse Research has appointed Kathy Ellison, former Head of Insight at Ecclesiastical Insurance, as a Director; and agency-side researcher Philippa Whitham as an Associate Director.

Based in the City of London, Charterhouse conducts ad hoc research and offers access to a number of continuous syndicated surveys. These include the Business Banking Survey of more than 17,000 businesses a year; the Customer Contact Survey which tracks early 40,000 bank customer contacts annually; and the Mortgage Intermediary Survey.

Ellison worked for the past decade at UK property insurer Ecclesiastical Insurance, initially as Head of Customer and Market Insight, and latterly as Head of Insight, Product Development, in charge of both the Insight and Product Development teams. Earlier, she held MR management roles at Alliance & Leicester and Eagle Star.

In her new role, Ellison will help manage the firm's financial research business and develop its insurance research practice. Whitham joins with twenty years' experience from agencies including Maritz Research, TNS UK, and Infratest Burke/NFO. In her new role, she will manage multi-client research programmes, including the firm's Business Banking Survey and Customer Contact Survey.
