iCrossing Launches Segment-based Content Service

September 17 2014

US digital marketing agency and online buzz measurement specialist iCrossing has introduced an online tool called Responsive Audience Intelligence (ResponsiveAi), to deliver contextually relevant content based on anonymous audience data.

Brian PowleyHeadquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, iCrossing offers a range of marketing services including SEO and web development as well as research and analytics. In 2010, the firm was acquired by media and marketing giant Hearst Corporation, and its new ResonsiveAi tool combines data from Hearst's more than 200 million worldwide users, with client-owned first party and other third party data.

Through the new tool, marketers can tailor site experience by audience segment, including by specific attributes such as age, gender, income, education and interests. Using proprietary technology, ResonsiveAi looks up each site visitor's audience profile, and matches it to the predefined characteristics of a targeted consumer segment. Then, based on that individual's audience profile, the tool serves contextual site copy and landing page content in real-time.

Global President Brian Powley (pictured) comments: 'Conventional responsive web design allows marketers to optimize a site's content and design across different devices. ResponsiveAi takes it one step further by responding directly to an individual consumer, and giving marketers the power to deliver the right message at the right moment in that customer's journey.'
