Job Cuts Reported at Analytics Firm Visible Measures

According to reports in the US press, Boston-based video analytics firm Visible Measures has made up to 30 members of its team of 130 redundant, across a number of areas of the business.

Founded in 2005, Visible Measures' MRC-accredited metrics help clients measure video consumption and viral distribution. In addition, its Fabric platform connects brands' video and native advertising with audiences in the most contextually relevant environments.

As well as its Boston HQ, the firm has offices in New York, Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco and London. Back in 2012, the company closed a $21.5m round of funding, which at the time, it said it planned to use to accelerate 'worldwide growth'.

According to online publication BostonBeta, Visible Measures has now laid off around a quarter of its workforce. The firm's CEO and Director of Content have to date not responded to DRNO's requests for further information.
