IMRG Rolls Out e-Retail Benchmarking

October 30 2014

UK e-commerce industry association IMRG has launched the e-Retail Benchmarking System, which promises to help online retailers measure their performance against similar organisations on a daily basis, from a PC, tablet or smartphone.

IMRG Rolls Out e-Retail BenchmarkingLondon-based IMRG (Interactive Media In Retail Group) is a membership community set up to develop and share the latest best practice advice among the country's online retailers. Through a partnership with online commerce specialist Affino, IMRG has developed the benchmarking system to offer access to data about average basket value, unique visitors, checkout abandonment and conversion rates - delivered through a personalised dashboard.

Users of the system can analyse up to twelve months' user behaviour, traffic and overall performance data, comparing it against the rest of the e-retail market. Benchmarks can be filtered to suit the company, and each KPI is displayed as an interactive graph.

MD Graeme Howe comments: 'Through this new system, retailers will be able to view critical KPIs such as conversion rates over desktop, smartphone and tablet on a daily basis and safe in the knowledge that the system is secure. Affino have provided innovative thinking and delivered something we feel will add great value to online retailing.'
