Prompt Debuts Social Media Scoring Service

December 2 2014

Digital marketing agency Prompt Communications has introduced a social media measurement and ranking serviced called Channel Social Influence (CSI), promising technology businesses help in measuring the online influence of their partners and partner networks.

Hazel ButtersEarlier this year, the London and Boston-based firm launched a social media division and service called Prompt Social, through which to analyze online discussions and provide guidance relating to customers, competitors and target audiences. The new CSI service includes opinion and sentiment analysis and will help vendors determine the social influence of individual partners on business-relevant social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and blogs.

Resulting data can be broken down into categories, ranks, tables and charts, to provide vendors with an understanding of the social media status of individual partner companies and third parties, in the context of specific projects, market trends and product segments.

CEO Hazel Butters (pictured) explains: 'Our CSI analysis gives vendors the opportunity to understand the social influence and reach of partners and to act accordingly; to harness those partners with the greatest reach and to develop social media marketing programs to assist those that have room to increase their social media activity.'
