ISG Opens Dedicated Cloud Solutions Practice

US-based technology insights, market intelligence and advisory services company ISG has set up a dedicated Cloud Solutions practice to help clients as they move work to the cloud.

Founded in 2007 as an acquisition vehicle, ISG (Information Services Group) first bought outsourcing advisory firm TPI, then in 2011 acquired UK-based benchmarking and analytics specialist Compass and public sector advisor STA Consulting.

The company has been providing cloud advisory services since 2010, and the launch of the dedicated division expands this service with new evaluation tools and management platforms. As part of its capabilities, the division will offer an application-based cloud readiness service, while its Cloud Service Evaluator provides a framework of evaluation metrics, scoring system and decision-support methodology to help clients find the best cloud solutions for their business needs.
