Manchester, UK-based agency Join the Dots has appointed former Tesco exec Mark MacNaughton as an Account Development Director, and Tim Burge as an Associate Director.
Founded in 1998 by former RI Director Pete Comley, the firm formerly known as Virtual Surveys pioneered web site research in Europe, and now also provides advertising, customer experience, product and service optimisation, as well as online communities. In March, the company reported a 25% rise in annual revenue to £6.1m.
MacNaughton joins from Tesco's Strategic Insight team, where he delivered multichannel research for the general merchandise business. Before this, he held roles at 2CV, ICM Research and Research International.
Burge has more than ten years' agency-side experience, with seven spent in Australia. He began his career at Nunwood, before serving as a Senior Account Manager at The Leading Edge (TLE), and an Account Director at Bread & Butter Research and Planning. Most recently, he worked for Morrison's.
The pair join recently recruited Research Directors Steven Marsh and Laura Hunt. MD Quentin Ashby, comment: 'Our continued growth helps us to attract the highest calibre of people to Join the Dots.
