RealityMine Hires Arbitron Veteran Dottye Gould-Smith

Manchester, UK-based mobile research technology firm RealityMine has appointed Arbitron veteran Dottye Gould-Smith as Director of Product Methods, based in New York City.

Dottye Gould SmithFounded by Garry Partington and Rolfe Swinton in 2011, RealityMine offers researchers access to opt-in panellists while passively collecting and analysing their activity across devices including mobile phones, tablets, PCs and smart TVs. In April it began expanding its syndicated service to twenty new markets worldwide, having secured rights to the TouchPoints name from UK professional body the IPA; and it hired the co-founders of USA TouchPoints, Jim Spaeth and Alice K. Sylvester. The company also has operations in LA, Silicon Valley, Chicago and Sydney.

Gould-Smith (pictured) joins from the Media Behavior Institute where she served as Executive Director of Operations with responsibility for the data quality, operational efficiency and performance of MBI's panel operations. Prior to this she spent 30 years at Arbitron, most recently as SVP, Respondent Acquisition & Compliance Operations, and previously in a number of key data collection roles, including VP of Data Collection Operations and manager of the firm's owned and operated call centers, field operations and sampling services.
