Herreros Joins Analytics Firm Maitems as MD

Healthcare research veteran Alberto Herreros has been appointed Managing Director of fast-growing strategic consulting and analytics company Maitems, with a remit to broaden its portfolio of clients in Europe and the US.

Alberto HerrerosHerreros (pictured), who will be based in Madrid and make frequent visits to the Bangalore head office, has spent more than twenty years in healthcare research jobs, most recently as Business Development Director for Spanish company Accurate Market Research, working in the Latam and US markets. Previously, he held managerial roles at Advira; Ipsos / Escario, where he developed the Healthcare Unit; and at his own company, Compass Research, between 2007 and 2010. He studied marketing and business administration in the UK and is also a certified translator.

Maitems Analytics, founded in 2013, has an existing staff of ten, focuses on the healthcare sector and offers business intelligence platforms, competitive intelligence analysis and medical conference analytics, presented via interactive dashboards. It also offers its own products, including an online methodolgy to detect bias in doctor respondents; and a Sales Performance Analytics Platform.
