Maritz Institute Hires Former GM Leader

In the US, The Maritz Institute has appointed former General Motors manager Charlotte Blank as Executive Director, to guide its future direction.

Charlotte BlankThe institute was formed in 2009 to support clients of Maritz, which provides customer experience research, employee recognition, customer loyalty, and channel and sales performance services. The organization offers access to a network of thought leaders, who aim to help companies achieve their strategic business goals by engaging stakeholders.

Blank (pictured) joins with a background in neuromarketing, social media and global branding. Most recently at General Motors, she led a cross-functional team of marketing, sales and agency partners to deliver communications for the Buick brand; and earlier she worked as the firm's Manager, Social Media. Before this, she was an Analyst at Turner Broadcasting. She holds a BSc in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University, and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
