Chris Haydon has re-joined Manchester, UK-based agency Join the Dots as Senior Research Director after a three-year stint in London. In addition, Benjamin Buckby joins as Research Manager, and Justine Colin, Martina Raviele and James Collinson as SREs.
Founded in 1998 by former RI Director Pete Comley, the firm provides research for advertising, customer experience, product and service optimisation, and sets up and manages online communities. In March, Join the Dots reported a 25% rise in annual revenue to £6.1m, driven by both existing clients and a number of new community contracts.
Haydon re-joins after nearly eighteen months at London-based full-service agency Crowd DNA, where he served as Insight & Innovation Director; and a period as a Director at consumer specialist Redblue Research. Prior to this, he spent more than seven years at Join the Dots in Manchester, latterly as Research Director. Earlier, he was a Strategic Planner at TBWA\Manchester, and a Researcher at Staffordshire TEC.
Buckby was previously Behavioural Insight Growth Lead at behaviour change specialist ICE Creates in Chester, and before this was Market Social Researcher in Mott MacDonald's transport division, where he specialised in both qual research, and applied behavioural science to generate insights into travel behaviour. Colin has re-located from Paris, where she was a researcher at CREDOC (Centre de recherche pour l'étude et l'observation des conditions de vie); Raviele previously served as an RE at mmr Worldwide, and an RE at TNS; and Collinson worked most recently at civil engineering firm AECOM as Senior Consultant, Social & Market Research.
