Manthan Launches 'Retail Analytics' Package

Manthan Systems, which develops business intelligence (BI) and analytics for the retail and consumer packaged goods sector, has launched a new tool called 'Retail Analytics' combining enterprise BI data and ad hoc analysis.

Anand Sri GaneshThe Bangalore-based firm, which also has offices in the US, UK, Philippines, UAE and Singapore, offers the ARC Retail Business Intelligence suite, which comprises analysis tools covering merchandising, customer data and supplier collaboration. Earlier this year, Manthan raised an undisclosed amount of funding with which to 'consumerize' its analytics portfolio. This includes tools such as Customer360, which offers a maths-driven engine to help clients engage with their customers, and map customer journeys across conventional, social and mobile media.

The new SaaS-based Retail Analytics solution has been developed to provide retailers with access to pre-packaged retail-specific analytical views and algorithms. Users can conduct self-service data discovery and exploratory analysis to identify revenue and profit opportunities.
