Senior Hires and New Office for NetBase

February 8 2016

Social media analytics specialist NetBase has appointed Paige Leidig as CMO and Dave Pefley as CFO; and opened a new HQ in Santa Clara, CA. Pefley replaces Bob Pape, who is retiring.

NetBase is growing fast...The firm says it has grown its revenue by 4,000 percent since the second quarter of 2012, and has customers in more than 40 countries. The new headquarters space is twice the size of the old one, reflecting ambitious plans for expansion as well as growth to date.

In the second half of last year, NetBase added a feature called Audience Fingerprints, for use in personalized marketing campaigns, and a new tool called Audience 3D (A3D), which combines Twitter audience data with its language technology to help brands better engage with their fans and expand their follower base.

Leidig will oversee marketing and communications, and support collaboration with brands and social media stakeholders. He joins with twenty years' technology and marketing experience, most recently at CipherCloud where he was CMO. Previously, he worked in senior management positions at SAP, Ariba, Elance and E*Trade.

Pefley will oversee finance, accounting, HR, legal, investor relations, planning and reporting. His 25 years' experience of senior level finance include roles at KLA-Tencor, Yield Dynamics, Virtutech and Aspect Development, and most recently at SaaS firm Adaptive Insights where he was CFO.

NetBase CEO Oeter Caswell comments: '2016 is poised to be an exciting year for the adoption and advancement of social media analytics... I'm pleased to be bringing on seasoned professionals like Paige and Dave to continue our upward trajectory'.
