GuestMetrics Upgrades Analytics Offer

Cambridge, MA-based GuestMetrics, which provides Point-of-Sale transaction analytics and insights for the food & beverage, hospitality and financial services sectors, has announced a new analytics platform and dashboard.

The firm and its subsidiary Black Box Intelligence LLC, track consumer spending everyday from more than 40,000 on-premise locations (restaurants, bars, hotels and stadiums) across the US, and processes more than 1.7 billion POS transactions annually, representing over $100bn in consumer purchases. Retail and healthcare data giant IRI is a partner and stakeholder.

The new cloud-based Analytics Management Platform (AMP) will fuel a number of new dashboards, of which the first it the On-premise Supplier Dashboard. The latter can be accessed on-demand using 'virtually any web browser'; offers non-technical users simple visualization and immediate interpretation of KPIsand trends; and allows advanced analytics of more than 39,000 wine brands, 34,000 beer brands and 19,000 spirits tracked and reported on every day.

Chairman and CEO Brendan Reilly says the firm plans to release a new Operator Dashboard, Distributor Dashboard and Financial Services Dashboard 'in the coming weeks'.
