IAB's Sherrill Mane Joins Ipsos Connect

Brand communication, advertising and media specialist Ipsos Connect has hired Sherrill Mane for its newly created role of Head of MAdTech Strategy, US.

Sherrill ManeMane (pictured) joins after more than eight years at the Interactive Advertising Bureau, where she was the architect of cross-industry initiative Making Measurement Make Sense, focusing on how digital media is measured, planned and transacted. Before this, she spent fourteen years at Turner Broadcasting, where she latterly served as SVP of Market Strategy at CNN, and earlier, she worked for Nielsen Media Research and Group W Satellite Communications. Additionally, Mane has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Advertising Research Foundation for the past six years.

In her new role, Mane is tasked with helping clients with their brand communications across media, advertising and technology (MAdTech). She will report to Ipsos Connect US President and former IAB colleague Peter Minnium, who comments: 'We live in a MAdTech world, one in which media, advertising and technology intersect to alter how people consume content, how marketers advertise, and how media companies act. We need to rethink how we communicate with consumers and Sherrill is uniquely positioned to help clients do that, with her experience as an executive at a media company and more recently, heading research, analytics and measurement at the IAB.'
