Kochava Opens European HQ in Dublin

August 30 2016

US-based mobile campaign analyst Kochava is opening a European headquarters in the heart of Dublin, and has hired Fred Thuard as EMEA Director of Sales.

Charles ManningKochava offers a mobile attribution platform which provides advertisers with real-time visualization of campaign data from initial launch, through conversion and lifetime value reporting, including post-install event tracking. Based in Sandpoint, Idaho and with operations in Beijing, China and Seoul, South Korea, the firm has now selected Dublin as the location of its new European HQ. CEO Charles Manning (pictured) comments: 'With a young, tech-savvy population of native English-speakers and the lowest corporate tax in Western Europe, Dublin presents an attractive mix of talent and government support, along with progressive licensing policies for intellectual property rights and R&D tax credits. Combine these factors with the concentrated IT ecosystem gathered in Dublin and it's clear to see that a tech utopia is being built'.

Paris-based Thuard was previously co-founder of mobile game usage intelligence firm Whally, and served as EVP at app store analytics firm App Annie. Earlier, he held senior roles at mobile app platform provider Geniem.oy, co-founded cloud music player Musana, was COO of mobile strategy software firm Opensugar, Director of Radio Development at News Corporation, and CEO of the German operations of radio broadcaster Lagardere.

The firm has also promoted Jaime Ocampo from his previous role of Head of Kochava Singapore, to APAC General Manager; hired former Lenovo exec Jeff Chai as Managing Director of China; and added former Oracle Data Cloud Head of Retail Analytics Grant Simmons as Director of Client Analytics.
